This bachelor work deals with the insurance of industrial risks from the risk management point of view. Principles of industrial insurance are characterized based on explanation of used terms. The work gives brief development of the risk engineering in the Czech Republic and involvement of the risk management in insurance business. The work presents general methods for the assessment of these risks and procedures used in risk inspection visits at the biggest commercial insurance company operating on the Czech market. Application is shown on a model example.
