Abstract

This thesis deals with the foundation of a limited liability company with aspects of a family business. It contains two parts. The theoretical part focuses on small and medium-sized businesses, forms of business in the Czech Republic, descriptions of a limited liability company and a family business, and a business plan structure. It also describes the progress and methods used to develop this thesis. The practical part of the thesis contains two chapters in which information obtains in the theoretical part are applied to a made-up family business Healthy Fresh s. r. o. The first chapter describes the steps of establishing a limited liability company, and the time schedules, documents, and financial costs required for each step. The second chapter deals with the compilation of a business plan of said company. There is an emphasis on the company description, competition analysis, marketing environment, financial plan compilation, success probability, and risks.
