Abstract
The diploma thesis deal with evolution of both strength and plastic properties of drawn steel wire for steel ropes during drawing with three drawing parameters. The first parameter is the quality of the wire surface, the second parameter is the single pass deformation and the third parameter is the die approach angle 2α. In addition, a pressure die is simulated for one set of surface quality. The theoretical part dedicated to the production and modification of semi-finished product for drawing, a description of laboratory drawing equipment and the production of steel ropes. It also discusses all important drawing parameters. There is also a look at the properties of drawn wire and test methods for their determination. The practical part describes the implementation of the experiment, the execution of individual input calculations and subsequent execution of the planned tests by tensile, bending and torsion. In following is an evaluation of the influence of individual drawing parameters. The conclusion of the diploma thesis summarizes the obtained results, including the influence of all parameters on individual properties.
