Využití strukturálních fondů Evropské unie v rozvoji vybraného města

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor project is to describe the regional policy of EU on theoretical base. In practical part, this project deals with two projects of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, namely Park Regeneration Scheme and Energy Conservation Scheme at basic school. Park Regeneration scheme is based on evaluating the project and explaining the reasons why this project was not put into practice. The eventuality of authorizing the project later, is also discussed. Energy Conservation Scheme is based on describing the project. This scheme is waiting for grant at the moment. Theoretical part firstly deals with regional policy, its history, principles, aims and tools. Secondly, structural funds are introduced as well as their importance for regional development. In the introduction of practical part, development schedule of the town is described. The next part of this project deals with two schemes of the town Frenštát pod Radhoštěm which could be sponsored by Structural Funds.
