Abstract

The subject of this dissertation thesis is an optimization of inventory management in a company Těšínská tiskárna, a.s. The thesis consists of two basic parts. The first theoretical part describes basic logistics, inventory distribution, ordering systems, economic ordering quantity, methods of inventory management. The second practical part analyzes an economic environment, describes the current stock management. Based on theoretical findings, the inventory is divided with ABC method, an optimal inventory management is proposed and an evaluation of the current state of inventory management with the proposed optimal economic solution.
