Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to assess the possibilities of overburden at the quarry Racice. This work addresses the description and characteristics of overburden materials. It seeks identifying and documenting its parameters. It proposes new uses for the quarry overburden and selects the optimum alternative methods of extraction and treatment of overburden materials. This should be the ideal way of balancing the current mining of no reserved mineral and it should result in extending the existing range of refraction at the same time. The conclusion of my work is dedicated to technical - economic and environmental benefits of my proposed solution.
