Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of forms and sources financing of the company VÍTKOVICE MECHANIKA Ltd. The first part of diploma thesis deals with basic information of analysed company and its development in the 2001 – 2007 period. The following part carries out horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of net working capital and indicators of liquidity, profitability, debt and asset management indicators. The Kralick Quicktest and Altman Z-score were used for the overall assessment of financial health. The final part, according to financial analysis, has recommendations on how the company could optimize forms and sources financing and improve its financial situation.
