Abstract

The diploma thesis "The Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union and Its Influence on the Development of a Selected Farm in the Czech Republic" focuses on the analysis of the impact of the common agricultural policy on a specific farm in the Czech Republic. This objective is achieved by analyzing the impact on the basis of selected economic indicators and financial analysis. Descriptive part describes the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union through basic economic indicators, reasons for origin and historical development, future form after 2020, goals, principles and mechanisms, financing and subsidy policy. Another part is focused on Czech agriculture and changes that took place after 2004 - the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. The basic economic indicators, historical development, subsidy sources, as well as the positive and negative aspects that were caused by the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union are described. The analytical part is related to a specific Czech farm, its development, agricultural production and the use of subsidy resources. On the basis of drawing of subsidy resources and realization of the project, a financial analysis of selected economic indicators is made and the influence of subsidy resources on the farm Lička is described.
