Abstract

This thesis deals with the use of renewable energy to power a house in the island mode under specific climatic conditions. The content is a list of possible alternatives to batteries for storing electrical energy, as well as renewable energy sources (FVE, IN) as possible sources for island mode. Possibilities of individual parts of the island are applied to the selected house. The main task is to determine the energy needs of the selected households, size and size of battery power for the independence of the house to connect to the electricity grid. The data for determining the energy needs of households were obtained by monitoring the power consumption of a particular house in a certain time period. The output is an evaluation of whether the implementation of such a system under the current technical, legislative and economic conditions of worth.
