Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the elaboration of a security project called secure area. The aim is to minimize situational criminogenic conditions in a selected locality of the town of Studénka on the basis of a proposal for effective security measures. The theoretical part of the thesis contains basic information on crime prevention, crime prevention tools and principles for processing a security project. Within the practical part of the diploma thesis, the expected course and process of processing the security project is discussed, as well as basic information about the town, in terms of location, crime analysis, current security measures, identified high-risk objects and areas. The following section deals with the data of the questionnaire survey, risk assessment, and the proposal of security measures, which is then subjected to an estimate of investment costs for the implementation of security measures.
