Abstract

The work begins with a historical introduction, which briefly describes the development of blasting and blasting techniques. This is followed by an explanation of basic concepts and description of different types of blasting. The content of the thesis, the possibilities of electronic blast in the underground construction, familiarity with electric and electronic detonators and their differences. Electronic blast is not used only in the underground construction, but also in other areas, such as on the surface of the quarries. The work is focused on examples of electronic blast, evaluation of the reasons for its introduction during blasting. The work is a description of the electronic detonators and blasting process itself proposals for mined underground work profile for 00-0-9 and a larger road tunnel top heading, using the electronic blast. Finally the examples of electronic blast, implementation and evaluation of benefits for blasting.
