Abstract

This thesis is focused on nanoparticles in the air. Specifically, it is focused on the air MSR. In the introductory section describes the basic information about the TSP particles, their distribution, characteristics, and their effects on living organisms. The next section is devoted to the Moravian-Silesian Region - climatic and meteorological conditions in the area, register of emissions and air pollution sources and the integrated pollution register. The thesis also describes the individual emission factors for PM10 and heavy metals, which are then used for the calculation of the likely quantity of emissions produced by ArcelorMittal Ostrava and Třinecké železárny. The phase chemical and mineralogical analysis was utilized for determination of composition of PM10 from emission sources and air pollution (air MS region).
