Komparace sociální politiky České republiky a Korejské republiky

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of social policy in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea, to identify possible shortcomings and to propose recommendations for improvement based on the analysis and comparison of selected indicators. The thesis is divided into five chapters, including an introduction and a conclusion. It covers the theoretical background of social policy and social policy in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea, focusing on its development and current state. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of social policy in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea using selected areas and indicators for the period 2012-2022. The selected areas are social security and health policy and social policy indicators which include the human development index, the poverty gap index and the Gini coefficient. The findings of the thesis are intended to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the social policy system and formulate recommendations for the future direction of social policy.
