Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the visualization of the New Aula Amphitheater of VŠB-TUO by 3D laser scanning technology. The theoretical part explains basic principles of laser operation and principles of laser scanning, including their use in practice. There are explained the physical principles of radiation generation, basic division and safety risks when using laser devices, a general procedure for measuring and processing measured data and consequently the influences that affect the measurement. The practical part contains information about interest object, used instrumentation and software equipment. In this section I focus on working with the Leica ScanStation C10 scanner and the subsequent workflow for cloud point processing and visualization evaluation in Leica HDS Cyclone.
