Analýza rizika sucha a možnosti zmírnění jeho dopadů na krajinu a vodní hospodářství

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the drought issues. The reader will learn about the different types of droughts, what causes them and about the different pespectives through which we can evaluate them. I also describe the risks that are linked to the droughts. Through selected pilot river basin, which was analyzed in rainfall-runoff models, I propose recommendations and means how to face the droughts, with the goal to most effectively eliminate their impact on both the water management and landscape in general. Last but not least I also define the LASW – localities potentially suitable for accumulation of surface water.
