Abstract

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design and assessment of the construction of a specific bridge object No. 5 in the Libavá Military District. After a thorough calculation of all variants, a frame construction with articulated supports was preferred as the most effective variant. The construction consists of a reinforced concrete slab with ramps. A calculation model was created in the SCIA Engineer program for the calculation of internal forces, and the results presented in this work were obtained using the FEM. The work is devoted to the comparison of internal forces on selected variants and the subsequent design and assessment of the selected structure. The limit state assessments of all parts of the structure, as well as the assessment of serviceability limit state with regard to the occurrence of cracks, were carried out in accordance with applicable standards.
