Abstract

The subject of this Bachelor thesis is a summary of the current state of waste management in the municipal sector. This work describes a general integrated systems and in greater detail the efforts of the Olomouc region and the establishment of a regional system that would put together all towns and villages. This large complex has its advantages, but it also can lead to the destruction of existing small units. Furthermore, it describes a fully functional system in the Jeseníky region, which is small and closed for his position. It territorially fits into the Olomouc region, but in the case of the introduction of the regional system, there would be changes that would have forced the region to switch to a lopsided system. There is also described a system that is placed abroad, but it was built for a large area and at a time when there was almost no system and then it brought benefit for a whole area.
