Abstract
Analysis of valid legal, operational and fire protection regulations in civil aviation regarding their application for rescue and fire protection airport service. Assessment of rescue and fire protection airport service activities. Objectives and position of rescue and fire protection airport service at airports and adjacent operations. The result is a proposal of possibilities to increase personnel and technical level in order to decrease potential risks and consequences of aviation accidents.
