This diploma thesis assesses the influence of the initial temperature on the concentration limits of explosivity selected flammable gases specifically methane, acetylene and hydrogen. In the introductory chapters of the thesis are presented the findings of burning, explosion and factors influencing their course. The following part of the thesis assesses the theoretical calculation of the effect of the initial temperature on the concentration limits of explosiveness, a description of the measurement procedure and subsequent experimental measurements in the test equipment - in an explosion autoclave. Subsequently, these values are compared and the degree of agreement between them is assessed.
