Abstract

This thesis deals with the possible influence of sample weight on the flash point of two different materials. The theoretical part describes the comparison of technical standards, ČSN 640149 and ASTM D1929-96 for determining the flash point to the value of the test sample. Further in this section explains several important concepts for understanding and ignitability is evaluated. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the description of test equipment to measure the flash point of implementation and its deviation from the standards used. Furthermore, the practical part describes the two materials that have been tested and are also listed and evaluated the results of the test itself.
