Abstract

The diploma thesis aims to assess the risk of explosion biogas in agricultural biogas plant. The theoretical part is aimed at clarifying the situation regarding biogas, legislation in the field of explosion risk, the explosion theory and its prevention. In the practical part I focused on technology in the biogas plant, the experimental determination of the maximum explosion parameters, upper and lower explosion limits of biogas, methane and their comparison. To meet the objective I determine which devices and areas of biogas plants is the possibility of explosive concentrations of air and biogas. Areas with an explosive concentration, it is necessary to include in explosive zones, and proceed to identify possible ignition sources, and then proceed to technical and organizational measures which lead to a dangerous concentration of limiting and preventing initiation.
