Abstract

The subject of this thesis is the analysis of profitability cryptocurrency mining. The thesis is separated into practical and theoretical part. The theoretical part summarizes important information for better understanding the cryptocurrency itself, their coin creation process, the ways of investing in cryptocurrencies or how they can affect us in the ordinary life. The practical part deals with the cryptocurrency mining process itself and analyzes whether it is profitable in domestic conditions. At the same time, it compares the collected data with the data from professional miner and special mining devices.
