Abstract
This thesis deals with the analysis of the unified visual style of the university and individual key elements. The unified visual style nowadays forms an integral part of promoting successful companies on the market with products and services.
The unified visual style is used to present individual companies on the market and to distinguish them from the competition. The unified visual style or corporate design is an integral part of corporate identity which is used for creating a corporate image. The key elements of the unified visual style are logo and graphic manual. Corporate logo, as a unique symbol representing the true nature and character of the company, helps customers to identify and remember their favorite products. Graphic manual contains important information and guidance on using a unified visual style to unify the company presentation. This thesis also deals with the analysis of the newly applied visual style of the Technical university of Ostrava, especially the key attributes of the university logo.
