Abstract
Thesis is dedicated to the industrial factors influencing internal gas pressure of coal charge in the coke oven. Parameters which can have an impal on internal gas pressure are mainly grain size distribution of the coal charge, its density or composition of blended single coals. Raw coke oven gas as a product of coal high temperature carbonization is being created in coke oven battery. Gases are being collected between two plastic layers and can consequently raise internal gas pressure growth together with coal charge dilatation. High level of gas pressure can evolve into the wall pressure or can result in hard pushing forces during pushing of the oven. Experimental part is dedicated the evaluation of internal gas pressure measurement at industrial conditions when second part is focused on influencing factors measurement. In conclusion, necessary improvement of internal gas pressure measurement is discussed and some recommendations are offered. Regular measurement and evaluation of internal gas pressure measurement was finally evaluated as a necessity for coke oven life prolongation.
