Abstract

The aim of this thesis is Economic Evaluation of Financial Health of the company Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava a. s. To assess the economic situation of the company I chose indicators of financial analysis, ratio indicators which include liquidity, profitability, activity and indebtedness. I used chosen value and bankruptcy models and also Du Pont pyramid decomposition. In the practical part these models are applied for the company Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava, a. s. between years 2006 – 2010. The following section contains practical suggestions and recommendations to improve the economic situation in the company.
