Charakterizace kamenů slinných žláz

Abstract

The thesis deals with the study of morphology, chemical and phase composition of salivary gland stones - sialoliths. During the research scanning electron microscope (SEM), infrared spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis were used. It was found that the studied samples have a similar chemical composition containing C, O, Ca, P, S. All samples contained carbonate apatite. Moreover, there was proved a presence of foreign elements such as Al, Pb, Ni, Pt, Ti, Ag in 75% of the samples.
