Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with identification of labour market and employment policy in the Czech Republic and Poland and suggests measures to improve this situation in both countries. The first part deals with the theoretical context of employment, unemployment and employment policy. The practical part includes specific features of the labor market and employment policy in both countries and then compares them. It also contains suggestions and recommendations.
