Abstract
This work deals with testing of measuring instruments monitoring parameters of electric power and with the design of test methodology with respect to the device class. In this work we point out the different possibilities of analyzers monitoring the quality of the network and electricity meters with the possibility of monitoring the parameters of the power quality. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part.
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the parameters and specifications of the individual instruments used for the tests. Moreover, it focuses on Czech standards dealing with the voltage characteristics of electricity supplied from public distribution networks, methods of measuring the quality of electricity and classes of devices monitoring the quality of electricity.
The practical part includes the design of test voltage waveforms with heed to selected parameters of electricity quality with emphasis on undervoltages, interruptions and overvoltages. Furthermore, the actual implementation of tests on selected devices. Based on the measurements, the results and their comparison with the relevant standards are evaluated.
