Abstract
The thesis deals with the occurrence of Devonian volcanics near Lichnov in the Šternberk-Horní Benešov zone. The body of volcanic rocks of the Lichnov structure was contoured using geophysical methods (ERT, DEMP and ground magnetometry) and structural measurement. With the help of geochemical and petrographic analyses, it was found that the rocks were altered by K-metasomatosis, carbonation, spilitization. Due to strong alteration, it is not possible to reliably reconstruct the original petrographic character of the rocks based on the distribution of the main elements and the modal composition, but the contents of ultrastable trace elements (Zr, Ti, etc.) after adequate processing can be used for interpretation. The results after conversion are consistent, which can be used when comparing strongly and weakly altered carbonate samples. Most of the samples probably correspond to metabasalt of intraplate origin, as evidenced by the content of trace elements.
