Abstract
This bachelor's thesis deals with the provision of connectivity for communication between a SmartHome-intelligent building and remote cloud services of IBM. As a tool for communication between the cloud technology and a building equipped with a KNX bus installation, the implemented SW is described here, which serves as a gateway between these various technologies so the that KNX installation can be accessed within the Internet of Things. The next part deals with implementation of the application for monitoring of the presence of people in the building based on the transferred data from the KNX installation to the IBM Cloud service. The key part of this work is the transfer of data using the MQTT protocol and data storage in the CouchDB database. Quantities are monitored: CO2 and humidity in the air, air temperature, presence of people and lighting value. Next part of this work is also an analysis of the current state of the methods of monitoring and control of operational technical states in SH within the IoT in the form of the research. The possibilities of integration of the KNX installation and the IoT are described below. Finally, a software test is performed and a comparison of the results achieved.
