Abstract

This thesis describes a liquid jet not only as a tool for machining or cutting, but also as an effective tool in coal mining. The first part is the introduction of the fluid jet as a cutting tool, a description, function and properties. The next section is devoted to the use of liquid jet as a tool for mining coal, which is called Hydromonitors. In the following chapters we deal with mining combines a raw material coal mined. The main concern of this work is the comparison of classical mining shearer and Hydromonitors, analysis of the total value of the coal in the unit ton / hour, compared to which of these tools is the extraction of coal efficiently and economically.
