Abstract

This bachelor thesis called “Support of Innovative Enterprise in the Czech Republic” focuses on theoretical aspects of innovation, innovative enterprise and its support not only by the state but also by the European Union. Basic terms related to this topic are defined. Using the data collected by Czech Statistical Authority, Eurostat and European Commission, innovative environment of Czech Republic in terms of both Czech and European innovation efficiency is analyzed and its disadvantages are identified. The last two chapters are devoted to the support of innovation environment by the EU. More precisely, “Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation”, its global and specific goals, financial resources, allocation of financial resources into various priority axes and especially various programmes for support of this operational programme, which are suitable for industry, are presented.
