Abstract

Economic changes or changes of lifestyle have strong impact upon tourism. Success of suppliers providing services in tourism depends on consumers more and more interested in themselves, on their higher disposable income and on growing fund of their leisure time. Companies need strategic targets and development plans for the future. They must know what to do to make the difference and become unique. Therefore they have to search for new opportunities, new enforcement and to improve their business strategy to keep themselves competitive. My Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of compatibility of accommodation and catering facilities in Nový Jičín. Based on information about the status of availability of provided accommodation and catering services at market. I have come to a conclusion that services offered in the market are sufficient. Companies have to improve quality of provided services to be competitive in the market. To be able to compete in the market companies have to improve the quality of provided services, to expand additional services and to ensure skilled staff. Advertisement and public relations are very important aspects in choosing the facility.
