Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the rehabilitation of the combined sewer A in 1. máje Street in the town of Třinec, located in a densely built‑up area near the Třinecké železárny steelworks and the Olše River. The introductory part briefly describes the project area and the existing sewer system and summarizes the results of geodetic and CCTV surveys, which revealed severe defects and an unsatisfactory technical condition of the assessed section. The following chapters present the design of the rehabilitation, combining trenchless CIPP lining with open‑cut replacement of the sewer, including the reconstruction of selected manholes and overflow chambers. The thesis also addresses the design of temporary bypass pumping of wastewater, a brief description of the rehabilitation and excavation procedures, an indicative hydraulic assessment of the reconstructed section, and an estimate of the service life and operational reliability of the proposed solution.
