Abstract
The possibilities of using various simulations are currently increasingly desirable. These are multidisciplinary applications from the chemical industry to mining. The work therefore shows the historical development of basic simulation methods that are used in mining. Application possibilities and practical applications are presented for MBD, FEM, CFD and DEM methods. There are also presented the advantages / disadvantages of individual methods. The research study shows that these methods can be used to model processes used in mining or, for example, processes where physical data collection is not possible (deep mining sites). Furthermore is shown the practical trend of connecting simulation methods called coupling, , which is increasingly sought after and used. The bachelor thesis presents a list of modern methods, directions and applications.
