Laserové skenovanie Kostola Sv. Pavla v Žiline

Abstract

The final diploma thesis deals with laser scanning of the Church of the Conversion of St. Paul, which is located on Marianske square in Žilina. The thesis briefly describes the theory of laser scanning or the composition of a laser device and a laser beam. It also deals with a brief history of the church itself and a description of the instruments used to determine the exact coordinates of the entire interesting object. The thesis also deals with the measuring process and consequent measured data processing. The measurement, which was carried out in several stages, resulted in creation of sections in different heights from the floor to create floor plans, side views, visual drawings of the east wall of the church. These are included in annexes of the diploma thesis. Furthermore, a point image visualization of the church and the monastery was created. The measurement was processed in several programs, such as Leica Cyclone, 3D Reshaper or AutoCad Civil 3D.
