Abstract
The work is focused on the issue of reducing scaling of high alloyed stainless steels. In the introductory part are presented the theoretical knowledge about the course of oxidation and reduction of phosphorus in the production of high-alloy steels. The following section presents an analysis of literary knowledge focusing on the mechanism of reduction of calcium phosphate, calcium and Ca + CaF2 compounds. The results of the research carried out under laboratory conditions are discussed.
