Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis put on display one of soil treatment method exerting soil density reduction. The method is based on exchange of a particular soil grain fraction for an appropriate granular low density material. The work aims to prove the feasibility of this lowering soil density approach that applies fractions of a foam glass and at the same time to maintain soil bearing capacity or enhance it even respectively. The work depicts a preparation of treated soil samples and laboratory tests. Attained outputs are summoned, analysed and on them conclusion drown.
