Abstract

In this master thesis we deal with methods of acquisition and operation of a car fleet. In the theoretical part of the work, we describe methods of acquisition of a car fleet against cash payment, on credit, via financial and operative leasing including an overwiev of advantages and disadvantages of each method. Next we describe operation of a car fleet by external or internal method. In the practical part we focus on each method from the viewpoint of a specified company. In the conclusion we compare the costs of all mentioned methods and we identify the optimal option for acquisition and for operation.
