Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of human factors models and their application for the investigation of traffic accidents of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis is devoted to examining traffic accidents involving vehicles of the Fire Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region, including statistical data. The second part focuses on the development and description of different human factors models. The third part of this thesis is focused on possible implementation of selected human factors models in road environment. The fourth part of the work deals with adjustment of information obtained about traffic accidents of Fire Rescue Services’ vehicles and adaptation of the HFACS model to be useful for investigating such accidents. Lastly, the possible implementation of the HFACS model is analysed on an example traffic accident of a Moravian-Silesian Fire Rescue Services’ vehicle.
