Abstract

Aluminum and its alloys are widely used in various kinds of industries. It is known in the food industry in the form of rolled thin metal sheet called aluminum foil. Furthermore, it can be found in the construction industry, as a popular material for the production of aluminum windows or also for the production of aluminum structures. Nowadays, advanced technologies and new possibilities have made aluminum and its alloys a popular part not only in the automotive industry, but also in aviation and engineering. Technological advances make it possible to improve the properties of aluminum alloys to some extent. Depending on the mechanical, chemical, foundry and physical properties of alloys it is possible to use them in various parts of automobile structures.
