Abstract
This thesis deals with the influence of the water moleculs on attenuation of optical fibres prepared from polydimethylsiloxane.
The work deals with production of the fibres from polydimethylsiloxane and it is measurement of the attenuation when the fibres are immersed into water bath in different time intervals and different water temperatures.
The work contains results of each measurement which are measured by method of two lengths. ThorLabs kit and LED sources have been used for all measurements.
