Abstract

This thesis discusses about selected devices used for the transmission system in addressing non-compliance with the criteria for „N-1“ and overloading the transmission system components using re configuration and re dispatching.

The first part describes how to troubleshoot the steady operation of electrical networks. In the second part is outlined the computing program PSS/E. Used for calculations and modeling of electrical networks. The third part of close interrelations between CEPS transmission system. Which is part of UCTE and which is also part of the new emerging networked system ENTSO-E. The fourth section defines the bottlenecks in the transmission system CEPS. From the perspective of non-compliance with the criteria for „N-1“. Based on the definition of typical bottlenecks are in the fifth section deals with selected critical situation. That occurred in PS CEPS and this situation is then carried out in the sixth part of inexpensive measures such as the re configuration and re dispatching. These measures and their impact on the transmission system are evaluated in the last section.
