Abstract
The dissertation thesis examines issues of water drainage in surface mines. Thesis is dealing with water drainage patterns, that result not just with the properities of water, geology, hydrogeology and hydrology, but even with other influences, as findings from history of water drainage in wider area, influences of underground extraction and also flooding of resiudal pits after termination of extraction. This work refers even to an area of legislation, which
is integral part of environmental protection and working safety.
In this thesis is detail dedicated to issues of water drainage of mines J. Šverma and Vršany and in the long viewpoint, in the most complicated locations – in area of the southwest slopes of mine J. Šverma and in area of former village Hořany. Disertation thesis examines geological structure of both areas, hydrogeology and ocurrently describes findings gained in realizated tracer test of underground water.
In research there was presented hypothesis of future underground water outflows in the area of southwest slopes of mine J. Šverma.
In conclusion of thesis are indicated general principles, which must be respected for the managing water drainage in surface mines. Marginally affects even
to economy of drainage.
