Analýza využití jednoduchých prostředků protipovodňové ochrany v podmínkách HZS ČR

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the use of simple technical flood protection measures – various types of simple flood barriers whose installation does not require the use of specialized machinery or heavy equipment. The introductory section of the thesis provides a general overview of flood protection, relevant legislation, and a recent history of floods in the Czech Republic, and defines the various types of floods and the flood protection system. Furthermore, the thesis describes the current state of equipment with simple flood protection measures within individual regional fire departments, including summary overviews, followed by an analysis of the simple technical flood protection measures currently available on the market, in relation to their technical and tactical data – dimensions, material composition, effective flood protection height, maintenance, service life, and the time and personnel required for deployment, including weight and volume limits necessary for transport and storage. The conclusion of the thesis presents a current financial analysis of the individual solutions.
