Abstract

The thesis aims to assess the overall position of Ukraine in Europe, its readiness to undisturbed democratic development and the possibility of greater EU cooperation with Ukraine, including the vision of the future integration of Ukraine into the EU. The first chapter of "Eastern Partnership under the European Neighbourhood Policy"will be devoted to general characteristics of the European Neighbourhood Policy of the Member States towards countries outside the European Union to participate in this policy. It also defined the difference between the European Neighbourhood Policyand Eastern Partnership. Subsection will address the six detailed country breakdown of the Eastern Partnership, identifying current problems of these countries. Last subchapter define Russia's position in relations with the EU under its EuropeanNeighbourhood Policy. The second chapter describes a brief historical developments taking place in Ukrainein the past, economic and political developments in Ukraine at present. Also point tothe overall direction of development of the country itself, its beliefs and behaviors, try to capture the future trend in the state. Subsection shall affect the issue of Crimea peninsula on which the claim raises the Russian Federation. Another sub-chapter willdeal with Ukraine's participation in international organizations like the WTO, or NATO. The final chapter will address the issue of drawing support from EU funds. Explains which activities can use funds from various EU funds, the conditions for drawing assistance, promotion and implementation of control activities. In sub-sections will examine the steps to implement the projects, and therefore closer to the democratic Ukraine to EU standards.
