Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with professional exposure of dust particles in cattle breeding. The aim of the thesis is to make an initial assessment of dust exposure of a beef cattle breeder and keeper using available measuring techniques. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a broad introduction to the issue of occupational dust exposure and related health risks. The content of the practical part involves a description of current situation of the workplace, the measurement of the exposure using the available instruments and the evaluation of the acquired experimental data. On the basis of the measured exposure data, a further approach to this issue is proposed for the considered profession.
