Abstract

This work focuses on exploring the possibilities and limitations of cyber weapons in the dark web environment. In theory, it provides an overview of the basic concepts and principles associated with cyber weapons, spyware and anonymisation networks. It provides also overview of the Dark Web, its differencies from the common web and services responsible for illegal activites and what makes him dangerous. In practical terms, a simple prototype of a cybernetic weapon, complete with a spyware component, has been experimentally developed and tested in a simulated laboratory environment. The emphasis was on the modular structure, the stealth of the code and its ability to communicate effectively through anonymous networks. The work contributes to a better understanding of offensive tools in cyberspace and highlights the importance of ethical and security measures in their research, development and potential deployment.
