Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to debate misdemeanors in municipality with extended powers. Thesis is focus on mapping of misdemeanor system of punishment in Czech Republic, mainly in view of educational effect on perpetrators of offenses and economic efficiency. Accomplished analysis of this system and draw the weakness and suggest possibilities for solving problem is also aims of thesis. Thesis could be beneficial for understanding of these issues in view of daily practice.
