Abstract

This bachelor’s work is focused on the creation of jewel – brooch, inspired by Art Nouveau. It describes in detail the technology of precise casting, namely the method of investment pattern to plaster molds and sand mold. On the model was used wax – wax models to forms of gypsum and to sand mold was used resin model. As material was used cast of tin bronze, but also cast from iron. The theoretical part focuses on the last universal style - Art Nouveau, and a native of Moravia, Alfons Mucha. In this work was described the technological process of artistic casting, which is different from industrial production.
